Abandoning the Interwebz (nawt)
So it seems as my time here in my home town comes to an end, that I find myself realising just how much I am going to miss the things I like about being here. So in the last two weeks instead of my typical video blogging and instead of tending to my newest written blog I have been socializing with the friends I am leaving here. They all seem to have a similar plan, to stick around here and dick around at community college all the while living with their parents. I seem to be the only one of my friends who cannot wait to get out of town. But as I was saying, I have come to realise that I will miss this place a lot. But I can only become more excited for what awaits ahead. I mean I get the chance to study exactly what I want to study in a completely different country. I have never even lived outside of my own county let alone another country.
So I just wanted to say that I have not left my internet days behind me. I just took a short break to make the best of my time left with my friends. I am back now and ready for my latest adventure. I will be blogging live from Comic-Con International 2008 in San Diego, California starting tomorrow Wednesday the 23rd, all the way to the last day of the convention Sunday the 27th. I will not have my laptop on me while I am on the floor. But the minute I get bck to my RV every night I will type you guys up my report along with a daily video blog explaining whatever I found interesting about that day at the largest pop culture convention in the WORLD! So I am very excited about that.
And then immediately following that I leave for my road trip up the west coast of America, where I will be doing (almost) daily video (and hopefully some textual) blogs about everywhere I visit, including but not limited too; San Francisco, Sacramento, Portland, Seattle, HOBBITON USA!, and many many more.
And of course I will continue regular blogs about my life in college once I arrive in Vancouver (just give me a week or so to settle in to the new city).
So to all three of you that might read this, I hope you’ll stick around for me to share my adventures with you.
Cheers,
Ian
p.s. I will leave you with a bit of The Dark Knight…sorta

First Post…GO!
What all is there to talk about? I have trouble broadcasting my life across the net. It’s not that I have privacy issues, it’s more about how I don’t find my life that interesting (and with my two-digit subscriber count on YouTube, apparently no one else does). But I’m not trying to be negative about anything. I enjoy my life, nd I enjoy the people I meet online. So there is a balance for me, I just don’t think I have developed a style for the internet yet. I have been a voyeur of others online for a while. But it’s about time I open the gate, and give the oppritunity for others to stalk me (not that anyone will)
So I hope to be on online a LOT more, and I hope to meet a lot of cool people.
Cheers,
-Ian
